Alejandra Cortázar is a researcher at the Center for Studies in Early Childhood (CEPI) in Chile. She has worked as a researcher and consultant on issues of ECD, early education and early childhood social policies for UNICEF, World Bank, The Interamerican Dialogue and for specialized academic and research centers in Chile and abroad. She is a former member of the Board of the Educational Quality Agency and a member of the board of the Educational Opportunity Foundation. Alejandra holds a Doctor of Education with a focus in early childhood policy and a Master in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
