Eleanor Hartzell has nearly two decades of experience working in international development and child rights programming. She has designed and developed nearly half a billion dollars of projects, primarily in East Africa in the health, education and child protection sectors. She holds Masters Degrees in Social Work and International Non-Profit Administration. She has a passion for emergency response, refugees and play-based programming. Eleanor has worked for Save the Children overseeing program development and quality in Ethiopia and Rwanda. She currently serves as Country Director for Rwanda for SNV, Netherlands Development Organization. She is married and the mother to two young children.
