Ms. Armel Azihar is a youth STEM and educational activist, advocate for girls and women’s equality and SRHR Advocate. She worked with IMARA Comoros NGO where the crossroads of STEM, Arts, and Leadership meet. She is the Media Consultant of the NGO, Coordinator and lead educator of the STEM program which teaches scratch, computer programming, lego and many more. She is a UNESCO SDG4YOUTH Network member, Head of Education Science and Technology cluster at SAYoF, and a former GPE youth leader who was advocating for the right of education for all. She has a BA in English literature and MA in conference interpreting from the Pan African University. She is passionate about youth education, the development of children and women empowerment. She believes transforming education is important because we need to prepare children and youth to have internationally competitive minds and be creative citizens.
