Anders Lundsgaard is the director of Child, Youth and Employment at Billund Municipality. Throughout his career he has worked with children with specialized needs and socially disadvantaged families. The first 10 years of his career he worked as a psychologist in the public school system with both children and adults. The primary focus was to improve the way we create inclusive practices in the public schools in Denmark. Later Anders turned his attention to the area of family services where he spent 5 years developing the very early measures of help for marginalized families. In his current position, he has the responsibility for daycare, public schools, family services, dental care, health nurses, school psychologists, substance abuse treatment and unemployment efforts- an area with a total of 1.100 employees.
