Dr Josephine Langton, an Associate Professor at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, Blantyre, Malawi. I am the Postgraduate Lead for Paediatric and Child Health training and a member of the Teaching and Learning Development Centre delivering pedagogical training within the University. I also work as a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant within the Paediatric and Child Health Department at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital. My academic interests include acute paediatric care, medical education, qualitative research and quality improvement. Through my work with NEST360 as the global clinical education expert I have gained unique insight into the importance of broadening the healthcare team to include biomedical engineers and technicians. I have also developed significant experience into how the quality of healthcare can be augmented and improved through appropriate use of innovative technologies. I passionately believe that high quality medical education is crucial for the delivery of exemplary medical care.
