Kerry Kassen has worked extensively in the international development space for many years. Her background in media in Johannesburg, South Africa would lead her to New York City where she worked at Sesame Workshop as an international producer responsible for collaborating with and managing creative teams in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. She later moved on to manage Strategic Partnerships at Sesame before moving back to South Africa in 2015. She is now a Senior Director at the LEGO Foundation, where she works to make playful learning a reality for millions of children working across the educational ecosystem with caregivers, government, and educators. She holds a Masters Degree in Media Studies with a Certificate in Media Management from the New School (New York) and a BA from Wits University.
