Dr. Marek Smulczyk is a Researcher, Assistant Professor and Member of The Scientific Board in Education at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Education.Dr. Smulczyk researches the psychology and sociology of education. He has been conducting research on the quality of education, social competencies, and school achievements. Recently his area of interest includes academic resilience of children and determination of SES on school achievements. He participated in international research programs such as TEDS-M, ICILS, PISA edition 2009, 2012 and 2015. He coordinated the implementation of Polish educational panel studies for the Central Examination Commission, the Educational Research Institute and the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is an academic lecturer and trainer in the field of social skills and personal development. Author of several scientific articles and chapters in scientific monographs.
