Tina Hyder has worked extensively in the fields of early childhood development and children’s rights and is currently an independent consultant and doctoral researcher. Previously, Tina served as Executive Director of Amna (formerly the Refugee Trauma Initiative) an NGO that supports the psychosocial wellbeing of refugees and other displaced communities. Before this, Tina was Deputy Director of the Open Society Foundations’ Early Childhood Program, where, as an active grant maker, she helped forge partnerships to promote early childhood policies, research, networks, and programs for marginalised young children and their families. Prior to joining the Open Society Foundations, Tina was a global adviser for Save the Children UK, supporting more than 50 country offices around the world to uphold the rights of children affected by discrimination.
